Training

Capability Development for Automotive Engineering Teams

Training built from engagement experience and delivered against your own programme artefacts, so the learning transfers into work rather than staying in a slide deck.

Modules

What we teach

Modules are combined into a curriculum for the roles taking part. Depth and duration are agreed per engagement.

  • Automotive cybersecurity foundations

Shared vocabulary and context for teams that need to work together on cybersecurity without all becoming specialists.

    • Vehicle attack surface and realistic threat context
    • How regulation and standards relate to each other
    • Roles across OEM and supplier organisations
    Intended audience:EngineeringManagement
  • ISO/SAE 21434 in practice

What the standard asks for, what the work products actually look like, and where teams commonly lose traceability.

    • Lifecycle activities and work products
    • Cybersecurity cases and evidence
    • Distributed development and interface agreements
    Intended audience:EngineeringQuality
  • TARA workshop

A hands-on workshop that runs a threat analysis and risk assessment on your own item definition.

    • Item definition and boundary discipline
    • Damage and threat scenario development
    • Attack feasibility rating calibration
    Intended audience:Engineering
  • UNECE R155 and R156

What type approval requires from an organisation and from a specific vehicle type, in engineering terms.

    • CSMS and SUMS obligations
    • Evidence expectations at assessment
    • Post-production monitoring duties
    Intended audience:ManagementQuality
  • Embedded and AUTOSAR security

Implementing security on constrained automotive targets without breaking timing, resources, or integration.

    • Secure boot and hardware trust anchors
    • Key management and cryptographic services
    • Secure onboard communication and its limits
    Intended audience:Engineering
  • Vehicle penetration testing

How vehicle security testing is scoped, executed, and reported, and how to read findings as an engineering team.

    • Attack modelling against a real architecture
    • Interface, diagnostic, and wireless testing
    • Severity rating and remediation guidance
    Intended audience:EngineeringSecurity

Delivery context

Workshops grounded in vehicle systems

Hands-on workshops and laboratory practice grounded in real vehicle systems and programme artefacts.

Delivery

Formats

Scheduling, group size, and location are agreed per programme.

  • On-site workshop

Delivered at your location using your own programme artefacts, with exercises worked through as a team.

  • Remote sessions

Scheduled sessions delivered remotely, suited to distributed teams across multiple sites and time zones.

  • Programme-embedded coaching

Support while your team produces its first work products, so the learning is applied to live deliverables.

Curriculum detail, duration, and pricing are confirmed after a short scoping conversation, because they depend on team size, current capability, and the programme work the training supports.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do you deliver a standard course or tailor the content?
Modules are standard, but the curriculum, depth, and examples are selected for the roles taking part and the work they need to perform next.
Can training use our own programme material?
Yes, and it is considerably more effective. Workshops run on your item definitions and architecture wherever confidentiality allows.
Do you issue a certificate?
We issue a record of attendance and the modules covered. We are not an accredited certification body and do not certify individuals or organisations.
How is training priced?
Pricing is confirmed after a scoping conversation, because it depends on module selection, duration, group size, and delivery format.
